Not Every Bad Review Should Be Fixed

This might sound strange coming from a consumer brand.

We don't believe every negative review should disappear.

In fact some of them should stay where they are.

Because they explain what we stand for.

Take our exchange policy.

Every often we receive reviews from customers unhappy that lower innerwear cannot be returned or exchanged.

We understand the frustration.

Buying innerwear online isn’t always easy.

Sizing can be confusing.

Preferences vary.

We genuinely empathise.

We won’t compromise on hygiene.

Every woman who buys from D’Chica deserves the confidence that her product hasn’t been previously worn tried or returned by someone

That’s why our policy exists.

Not because it’s convenient for us.

Because it’s safer for our customers.

We also receive questions about why exchanges for bras and upper innerwear carry a fee.

The answer is surprisingly simple.

Logistics cost money.

Of hiding that cost inside every product we show it transparently.

That means the customer who never exchanges a product doesn’t subsidise the customer who does.

Could we build those costs into our pricing?

Yes.

Many brands do.

Could we increase prices across the board. Advertise "free exchanges”?

Also yes.

Free" isn’t really free when everyone has already paid for it.

We’d rather be honest.

Transparency isn’t always the marketable choice.

It’s the one we’re comfortable making.

The same philosophy shapes how we design products.

We could invent must-have" features every season.

We could convince women that basic comfort deserves a luxury price tag.

We could create anxiety first. Sell the solution later.

We’ve consciously chosen not to.

At D’Chica comfort isn’t a premium feature.

It’s the standard.

You shouldn’t have to pay extra simply because an innerwear brand decided to remove wires that never needed to be

You shouldn’t have to spend thousands to wear something that doesn’t dig into your skin.

You shouldn’t be made to feel that your body needs fixing before your innerwear can fit properly.

Our job isn’t to manufacture insecurities.

Our job is to solve problems.

That’s why you’ll see some reviews on our products.

Some point out things we needed to improve—. We’re grateful for them.

Some disagree with policies we’ve intentionally chosen—. We’ll respectfully continue to stand by those.

Because building trust isn’t about making everyone happy.

It’s about being clear, about what you believe.

When not everyone agrees.
